The Computer Science & Engineering Department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects of Computer Hardware and Software with an emphasis on practical learning. We are living in an information age and witnessing phenomenal growth in Communication Technology. This growth has thrown challenges to the education system to keep abreast of the latest technologies. This discipline has seen rapid changes and the fastest growth ever since mankind has started. Currently, Computing has become inseparable from human life. It has found a prominent place in our day to day life and we struggle to cope with it.
From a modest beginning in 2002 with single B.Tech Program with 60 students, the department has scaled heights and today offers three programs, one UG program (B.Tech – CSE) and two PG programs, (M.Tech – CSE and Cyber Security). The department endeavors to provide total customer satisfaction by sincerely adhering to the quality policy of the institution and focusing on faculty development, an update of faculties and continual improvement.
The infrastructure development in the department has kept place and state of the art labs have been established to cater of three programs. A research center has been set up to promote research in the department. The strength of the department lies in the shelves of its library and computing equipment supported by high-speed Ethernet and Internet facilities.
Apart from teaching our faculty members have published research papers in National & International Journals. The CSE students are placed in a high profile industrial environment and most of them are occupying leading positions in Academia, Industry worldwide. The students are involved in the development of innovative projects through their strong industrial-based curriculum and most of them undergo industrial internships in leading MNCs during the project phase
The Computer Science and Engineering Association here, is committed to developing the Organizational, Technical as well as Professional skill set of the student members. The department organizes National Level Conference, Technical Symposium, Seminar, Guest Lecture and conducts Technical based events to hone the skills of our students, Alumni meet are conducted annually to hear suggestions from the alumni for the development of the department.
With the guidance and Motivation of the principal, support of the management and dedication of the faculty, the department of Computer science and Engineering is always in pursuit of excellence.
